Following the success of previous Esports World Cup editions, when Natus Vincere and Team Vitality claimed titles, the world's Counter-Strike 2 elite returns to fight for the championship title. Esports World Cup 2026 moves outside Saudi Arabia for the first time in history and will take place in Paris, France, from July 6 to August 23, 2026.
The tournament will bring together more than 2,000 elite players from over 200 clubs from 100+ countries, who will compete for a share of a record prize pool exceeding $75 million and for prestige within the EWC Club Championship. The competition is part of a unique cross-game format, where clubs collect points in various games, and at the end of the tournament, the overall EWC Club Championship winner is announced.
Exact information about the CS2 finals matches and their venue in Paris will be announced later. However, fans can look forward to live matches, a rich accompanying program, and a complete festival of esports culture, which is typical for EWC – including cosplay, gaming zones, music performances, and creator studios.
